Clownvis Takes On America's Got Talent

The St. Louis Rock & Roll community is still buzzing about the cities own, Clownvis Presley's appearance on NBC's America's Got Talent TV show Wednesday night. Clownvis, aka Mike Leahy is a member of the psychobilly/glam outfit the 7 Shot Screamers and did a stint as part of Excene Cervenka's Original Sinners. Mike had the opportunity to perform on Americas Got Talent in his Clownvis persona and hilarity ensues. The whole thing is just genius in so many ways and here is the footage:



Since the show aired there has been a Facebook campaign for Clownvis to host Saturday Night Live ala Betty White and a proposed remake for the 1989 movie Little Monsters. I presume more comedy will come forth as time goes on.
